The morning was beautiful...like any other day..:)...

Cool morning winds were blowing...like any other day...:)...

Birds were chirping...like any other day...:)...

People were doing their morning jig in the central park opposite my house...like any other day..:)...

The morning was like any other morning.....cool winds....birds chirping...people moving about in the park for their morning walk.....

But I had not anticipated the beautiful weather that I would experience soon. I started for office around 7:30AM and as soon as I crossed Moti bagh and turned towards the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway.....I could see dark clouds on one side towards the IGI Airport and the sun shining on the other.....the view was beautiful and the clouds danced in the gentle sunlight....and started filling every visible part of the sky.....

With cool windows blowing I opened the windows, increased the music volume and.....humming I zipped towards office....hoping that it would rain again so that i could enjoy the drive even more and the summers would have their middle plucked further (May last week is the middle of Delhi's peak summers..sorta..).....The rains came down soon enough and the experience was enchanting....the wiper swishing....good songs.....rain drops falling on me as soon as I would lower the windows slightly.....soon the heavy rain turned into a slight drizzle and it started getting darker with the increasing cloud cover....and soon enuff it poured......

I havent experienced such a pleasant fortnight in Delhi in May since a long time...and the experience has been wonderful.....I love rains and getting wet in the rains....the smell of wet mud.....the trees which are parched at this time of the year have been shining green and dancing alongwith the cool winds.....some trees drunk in the beautiful weather have even fallen......hopefully new ones will take their place....

It just makes me thank God for giving such a beautiful life!!!!
